I have a clear idea of what I want and look forward to starting my new position. Aside from the practical advice I think the most important thing I got from my adviser was renewed confidence which you need when you are job hunting.

There is a lot to consider in the direction of future employment.
I now have a different outlook on possible opportunities that I may not have thought to consider. Assistance with my CV is greatly appreciated. Initially I did not wish to make a song and dance about myself as I find this difficult, but now I understand the importance of marketing myself.

My experience with NCS was really helpful. My adviser Stuart helped me with writing a covering letter, CV and writing up a competency based application form and interview tips. I received useful guidelines to support me I was on the right track with selling myself well.

I was not working and had not worked for 11 years due to being a full time carer. I needed a lot of help and advice with getting back to work and with my CV. I definitely had a complete lack of confidence, I hadn’t realised how bad it was but my adviser Stuart made me feel as though I had a lot more to offer than I realised.

Hi Rina, thank you so much for your help! I saw a job advertised on the NHS website last week and went on an informal visit to the dept to talk about the job. I was asked to place my online application on the NHS website that day, and have been guaranteed an interview.

Just had to let you know your touch up on my CV has caused me to be receiving more interviews than I can handle :). I have a job to start on the 24th and still have 2 interviews lined up and am still getting emails about interest in my CV. Thanks you are a natural born genius.
